Customer Parking:
The Winchester clinic is surrounded by streets with permit parking restrictions. However Winchester Travel Health has permits that we can temporarily issue for the patient’s use whilst at the clinic. Please allow some extra time for parking nearby and then please collect a permit from reception prior to booking in.
There are some free parking bays outside our clinic, but there is low availability and please read the signage, as times vary.
There is alternative parking available at the train station.

Consultation Fees:
Please be aware we are a private clinic and consultation fees do apply. On the first visit this is £15 for adults (£7.50 for children), as long as some vaccines or anti-malarial medication is administered. Please be aware a consultation fee of £25 applies for adults (£12.50 for children) should no vaccines be administered. At subsequent visits this fee is reduced to £7.50 for adults and £3.75 for children. There are charges for all of our services.

Important Information:
It would be very helpful if you can bring a list of any previous vaccinations and/or medications you currently use. Your GP will be able to provide you with a print-out of your previous vaccine history and a list of medications, these may also be useful to carry for travel purposes.
For children please bring their ‘Red book’. We would encourage you to discuss any concerns about vaccinating your children, or about needle-phobia in advance of the appointment. If bringing more than one child, please do consider bringing another adult with you if possible.

General:
All medical information is kept in the strictest confidence and in accordance with the data protection act and never shared without your consent.
We would appreciate it if you could arrive a few minutes before your appointment, so that we can take a few details and also to allow for parking. Please do let us know if you are running late. We always endeavour to keep to a specific appointment time, however please be aware that on occasions appointments can overrun and your patience would be appreciated.
Any change, or cancellation of an appointment must be made no later than 3 hours before the appointment time. If a cancellation is not made within the deadline, a non-refundable fee of £14 will be charged.

Language and Access:
Please do let us know if you have any specific needs. We can arrange an interpreter in advance if required (this normally involves the interpreter’s fee).
We do have a ramp to assist wheelchair users to use the building, however due to the age of the building our toilet and entrance to the private clinic room are not very wide.
